Ouch: Romney less well-known now than in 2007

Ouch...

Somehow, Mitt Romney has pulled off something remarkable. He is less well-known than he was in the last election cycle:
Only 27 percent of Americans named Mitt Romney and only 28 percent named Rick Perry. That’s below the same measure taken four years ago in October 2007, when 45 percent could name Rudy Giuliani and 30 percent could name Romney. So, well into his second campaign for president, Romney is now less well-known than he was four years ago, when he ran the first time around. Not exactly encouraging...

  1. So Romney has gone from distant second to a virtual tie for first in name recognition among candidates? Genius work here. You could've just written "I Hate Romney" as your title.

  2. You're missing the point: Romney has been running for president for 5 years but has not been able to increase his name recognition at all in that time. Instead, it's slightly declined.

And for the record, I don't "hate" Romney. I disagree with some of his policies and he's not my first choice for the GOP nominee.

...But Romney is a *million* times better than Obama!
