New AFP Ad & Super Saturday Walk in Orlando

Americans for Prosperity launched a new ad today about what life is like around the dinner table for the more than 12 million Americans who are unemployed. AFP New Media Director Stephanie Fontenot described the ad as follows:
It's a common scene and, to some, an all too familiar situation. As a response to the jobs report released this morning, we've just launched our new ad, "The Dinner Table" online. It's uncomfortable, awkward, and a real-life example of the impact of President Obama's harmful economic policies and failing agenda.

Tomorrow in Orlando: Super Saturday Walk
Over 400 citizens to go door-to-door
to educate Floridians on jobs & the economy

ORLANDO, FL – Tomorrow in Orlando, AFP-Florida will host its first-ever Super Saturday Walk to educate citizens about President Obama and Senator Nelson’s failing policies in the Sunshine State. With four buses filled with activists traveling from Georgia to Orlando and at least 200 Floridians signed up to walk, this event will include at least 400 individuals concerned about the future of Florida.

Utilizing state-of-the-art mobile canvassing tablets, AFP can quickly identify issues Floridians care most about, and then contact them within days based on that information. This easy-to-use technology has made connecting with neighbors easy and effective, allowing AFP to reach more than 10,000 houses already this year.

“With confirmation of yet another month of over 12 million people unemployed, American families face a jobs crisis at the dinner table. AFP-Florida is ramping up its efforts to force President Obama and Senator Nelson to justify their failing agenda,” said Slade O’Brien, Florida State Director.

MEDIA ARE INVITED TO ATTEND, WALK WITH CITIZENS AND SEE THE TECHNOLOGY FIRST-HAND.

What: Super Saturday Walk
When: Saturday, October 6th starting at 7:30 AM
Where: Rosen Plaza Hotel, 9700 International Drive, Orlando, FL 32819
