Chris Dorworth on Ed Dean Radio

State Representative Chris Dorworth was on the Ed Dean Radio Show on Monday, to discuss Scott Maxwell's distorted stories about him (you can read my blog post about that here):

Ed Dean Radio Show | November 14, 2011

The second you decide you're going to live your life based on what a poll says, or what an editorial board says, is the day that you should quickly resign your public office and find something else to do...
And, listen man, I gotta tell you something, I did not run for office for the validation of any editorial board. I ran for two reasons: I ran to represent...my constituents to the best of my ability, and to represent good conservative values in the Florida legislature. And that's the two things I hold myself up to. If my constituents like it, if they like the job I do, then they'll keep reelecting me. If they don't, they won't. That's what's great about America, we don't get this job for life.
Dorworth also gives updates on how the redistricting process is going, and what's coming up for the 2012 legislative session.

I was a guest on the show after Dorworth to talk to Ed about my observations seeing the Occupy DC and Occupy Denver gang in action, my thoughts on redistricting, and the latest in the Florida Senate race. My segment starts around the 27 minute mark.
