Romney's Full Speech to VFW Convention [VIDEO]

Mitt Romney gave what, in my opinion, was one of his best speeches of the campaign so far, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention yesterday. Here it is, in its entirety, for you to enjoy:

Part of the reason that I like this speech so much is that Romney is not afraid to hit Obama directly on his administration's many foreign policy failures and weaknesses. This line, around the five minute mark, got a standing ovation:
We haven't seen much in the president's first term that inspires confidence in a second...in dealings with other nations, he has given trust where it was not earned, insult where it was not deserved, and apology where it is not due.
Another line that Team Romney should consider putting in an advertisement:
I am an unapologetic believer in the greatness of America. I am not ashamed of American power. I take pride that throughout history, our power has brought justice where there was tyranny, peace where there was conflict, and hope where there was affliction and despair...I believe our country is the greatest force for good the world has ever known, and that our influence is needed today as ever before.
I like this philosophy so much more than the guy who told the Russians he'd have more "flexibility" after the election. Want flexibility, President Obama? Take up yoga.

  2. For the first time in my voting life, I do not have a clear view of a sitting President. Surely though, there has been change. Not all brought about by this President. But, that said: in my liftime, the last time there was confrontation where we clearly turned around a situation that would have been absolutely terminal to our well-being, The Cuban Missle Crisis, and President Reagans speach in Berlin come to mind. Albiet, since that wall has come down, there has been an inbalance in the world. Just thinking.
