On the campaign trail with Adam Hasner

Here's the latest update from the campaign trail from Florida Senate candidate Adam Hasner:

This year is coming to an end and next year's elections are drawing ever closer. We know that it's going to be a tough fight but it's one that I am energized and ready for - and I have your support to thank for that.

All campaigns have their ups and downs, but it's meeting with dedicated Floridians just like you that keeps me inspired and motivated each and every day to keep spreading my principled conservative message of limited-government, lower taxes, putting an end to reckless spending, and traditional family values.

In fact just recently, I had the opportunity to speak at a joint meeting of the Florida State University College Republicans, Noles for Israel, and the Tallahassee Young Republicans.

These young conservatives asked great questions on topics ranging from worries about our economy to how to prevent Iran from crossing the nuclear threshold.

Another major issue we discussed was our unsustainable entitlement programs. Social Security and Medicare taxes are taken out of every one of their paychecks, but they are smart enough to understand there won't be any funds left for them when they become eligible unless we make systemic changes and modernize these programs for the future.

We owe it to their generation and the generations to come to restore America's fiscal solvency.

Young Republicans are often told, "You're the future of the Republican Party." I disagree: there's no reason that Young Republicans, or any of us, have to wait for the "future" in order to make a difference.

All of us have the ability to be a voice today for conservative principles. Help your friends and neighbors register to vote, share articles onFacebook and Twitter, and encourage others to get involved and stay engaged in this election.

Adam Addressing Young Republicans In Tallahassee
Whether I am meeting with the Republican Men's Club of Collier County or having a conversation with one of the thousands of activists I have met over the past months, there is one thing that remains constant and that is always clear - the grassroots hold the true power.

The media likes to crown "frontrunners" and it's no secret that I'm an underdog in this race. But I'm an underdog with a strong plan and a heck of a lot of fight. Nothing has ever been handed to me and I never expected or even wanted this to be an easy road.

Because we aren't like other campaigns, this past week we released some of our internal polling (click here to read) showing that I have a clear path to victory because I'm the only candidate in this race with the conservative track record and ideas to not only defeat Senator Nelson but to bring true conservative leadership to the U.S. Senate.

It's not enough to elect just any Republican; we have to elect the right Republican!

Because we all know that the work doesn't stop on November 6, 2012.

We're facing critical challenges and it's going to take tough and proven leaders with passion and purpose in order to solve them. Our country was founded by "we the people," and it will be restored by "we the people" again.

So please join our movement at www.adamhasner.com and share with your friends and family why you support our campaign on Facebookand Twitter, or forward this email to them. Together we can fight Washington and save America!

Thank you for your continued support, and I hope to see you soon,
