In Texas, even the Governor's pocket tweets are awesome

Engaging in social media can be a double-edged sword for politicians (Exhibit A: Former Senator Scott Brown's infamous "bqwhatevr" tweets).

Texas Governor Rick Perry sent out a very concise one-character tweet this afternoon...

...much to the entertainment of the rest of the Twitterverse:



Governor Perry handled the matter with his typical straightforward good humor:

A short while ago, Perry posted this article about USAA expanding its operations in Plano, "creating 680 jobs and more than $31 million in capital investment," noting that it was not a pocket tweet:

...because there's nothing accidental about new jobs getting created in Texas. Oh, snap. ;)
