I endorse Eric Lasso for Orange County Commissioner

A friend of mine from college, Eric Lasso, announced today that he is running for the District 3 Seat on the Orange County Commission. I enthusiastically endorse Eric without reservation, and encourage you to check him out and consider supporting him as well.

If you're familiar with local politics, you know that District 3 is badly in need of the attention of a dedicated representative of their own. I forget the current status of the case, but as you may be aware, the seat became vacant after the previous District 3 Commissioner got in a bit of hot water. After that followed two appointed commissioners from two separate Governors.

The residents of District 3 are understandably frustrated. Fortunately, this year, they finally get to elect their own representative, and I highly recommend Eric Lasso. Eric is a lifelong Florida resident, a Certified Financial Planner (i.e., smart with handling money), and just one of the nicest, most down-to-earth guys you'll ever meet.

Serving in elected office can be challenging. There are a lot of competing demands for your time, attention, and support, but Eric has always shown a prudent decision-making and commitment to ethics and fairness that will serve him well. He has clearly put a lot of thought into this race and has substantive ideas for how to improve local government.

But don't take my word for it. Learn about Eric Lasso yourself, and make sure to meet him when you have a chance:
